Review: For years I have waited for Pride and Prejudice, The completely closed wit, intelligence, passion and romance of Jane Austens classic. 1995 mini is beautiful, and I looked at it many times, but I was always frustrated that even though it was so much dialogue and detail, it somehow fell on some of the more subtle dynamics of novel. Finally this film adaptation is captured by the previously been missing ! True, it took a license of some of the verbiage and detail of the novel, but eventually catch signs of their transformations, their strengths, their vulnerabilities, as well as their passion. You simply can not do the final work Pride and Prejudice in two hours. And that the film does not try. But what makes the company - to capture the story and characters, it does beautifully. It is well acted, well directed, and to combine the paper. Although it is a rush and skimp on scenes and characters, it is the most authentic and true to the spirit of a version of the novel that I have ever seen. You just do not want it to end ... well done! It's about time! |
