Review: Hemingway House is trying something new to the big gangster comedy Guy Ritchie and Martin MCDONAGH add heritage, but they try too hard, and in the end it is not. Each scene is trying to learn more bizarre and shocking than the last, but they are rarely funny. Dialogues wants to be witty and remember, but actually they are just over-the-top curses and insults by the characters. Hemingway House (wonderfully played by Jew Law) who is not a hero, but not an anti-hero: he is just a man, to get the pathetic drunk and high, the majority of the film. Theyre not wait too long to add some drama in the depth of his character.It to have a few funny moments, but this film is just too forced to be naturally funny. If you want to see a movie with a similar mood, but better, I I would recommend you to dirt. |
