Review: 2000s cut hit X-Men certainly deserves sequence (or two, or three), especially with all the money they make and how the first one ended. Now the X-Men are back together again, and this time they've got some new friends, including Nightcrawler and Pyro, and also some new enemies as William Stryker and Lady Deathstrike (his personal mutant assistant / slave). This time, the X-Men find themselves locked in an impossible alliance with Magneto and mystery (their nemeses from the first film) against evil scientist named William Stryker military, whose main aim is to remove on the world once and for all.X2 mutants: X-Men United in many ways an improvement over the first film. In more psychological, the longer, more action, more mutants, more than Wolverine sliced ââup and as the first film she is never boring or drag, X2 get-go of fierce and exciting. In fact, X2 is almost perfect comic book movie? Almost. One small connections, weak in X2, for me at least, is Nightcrawler. Now, I want the character Nightcrawler, but I honestly do not matter much for Alan Cumming, he comes off as a little weak, and kind of dorky. The character Nightcrawler really just looks like a big relief to the plot: as the scene where rescue Rogue in X-Jet, which was oh so very convenient. But one thing I like about Nightcrawler, other than the amazing opening sequence to the White House, his religious side, which I think is interesting and makes me yearn to be a little more character. Pretty much all the X2 works perfectly fine, I dedicate this victory to all the great cast (Jackman, McKellen, Stewart, Marsden, Janssen, Berry, Paquin, Cox, Romijn), and the fact that The film was written and directed by the same people who obviously know what they are doing back in 2000, and here they show us once again, they still know what they are do, and do not be afraid to up the ante and take it up a notch. If you really liked the first X-Men theres no reason at all why you would not enjoy it as much or as X2, or perhaps even more than the first film. There are still moments of surprising humor, and full of action, perhaps even more so than the original. And like the original, X2 sets itself for the third film; lets just hope it turns out (at least) as good as the first two films, if not better. |
