Review: After opening title, we cast the social norm of guts and glory horror we all know and love. Five friends decide to drive their van out to an abandoned cabin in the woods and along the way they come across the creepy old man in flowing gas station; nothing could be confused right? And what a stereotypical horror scenario will be without their clicks? S signs; stoner; Jock; geek; the popular girl and the girl - well, sort of. Much of the laughter of the film group or just about anything you should not do nåri a creepy cabin; resulting in them struggling to live when suddenly attacked by bomb creatures of night. As for the rest of the plot, its nice to far from what you would normally expect; and balances between the incredibly well-mixed cocktail of classic horror and laugh out loud humor. Seeing as I'm still traumatized from when people told me at the end of The Sixth Sense, dont wait for me to tell you what happens in the rest of the movie - of course, in addition to the killer unicorn. If you look around the Internet really close, you'll notice its the highest rated Horror Movies for the last 7 years ago descent. You will never see another horror movie like this ... EVER ... PERIOD! In the large range of god-awful horror films have just brought out on the big screen and direct to DVD / Blu Ray, The Cabin in the Woods is a refreshing essential milestone for the long drying horror genre. Aside from the somewhat clumsy and pretentious cameo from Sigourney Weaver, The Cabin in the Woods is wantonly bloody, funny, well-acted, either brilliantly written and directed a satire of the horror genre. This is Casablanca movie spoofs, and whether you are a fan of horror or not, it is not to be missed.10/10 |
