Review: Before he saw it, I knew I was in for a treat, due to the fact that his film Scorsese, but going even better than I expected.The acting is superb. Leonardo DiCaprio gives what is quite possibly the best performance of his career. Even people who hate to admit it, they did a good job. Its turned some fans hate my brother, who hates him, and says it's great. Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson give their best performance by a talented Mr. Ripley, and as good as it gets. Mark Wahlberg nearly steals the show with the best lines. Ray Winstone, Alec Baldwin and Martin Sheen are good too.Definitely one of the best films of the 00s. And easily one of the best remakes all the time. His intense, fun, exciting, uncertain, superbly acted, violent, has great characters, and has one of the most shocking scenes I've ever seen. And there is not a dull moment in his two and a half hour running time. The film will most likely be nominated for picture, director and screenplay adapt, and in my opinion, deserves all three. DiCaprio and Wahlberg also deserves nominations.See it as soon as possible. |
